Pretty fall colors and an artsy day to attempt to get out of a funk

I feel like I've been in a funk lately. I haven't been to happy with most of my work and haven't been inspired by much. So even though it was kinda gloomy out on Wednesday, I tried to find inspiration (and a feature) from the pretty fall foilage. I wanted to get some fall-esque pictures before all the leaves fall from the trees. With the expcetion of the first one, the remainder of the photos are raw--no cropping, size, toning. Nothing. Since we've gotten new computers at work, I've been saving my day's work on the photo storage drive and haven't bothered bringing my laptop in. Even though I'm not a fan of PCs, they are much faster than my old iBook.

Hey chica! Cheer up! I love the last pic. The thing that would've made it perfect for me is if there were a tiny person running or walking there. Still a nice shot!

I want to share with you a quote.

"People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily." -Zig Ziglar, American author

I think the same goes for inspiration. It's funny though, I feel the same way right now.

Here's to getting through this rough patch. :)

Hi Annie-I love the fall shots, I just I love the beauty of fall and you captured it well! Just wanted to let you know I saw a similar shot of your fallen leaves(#2)on the national geographic site. I absolutely love the yellow tree shot (#3)especially with the dark tree branches/trunk as a contrast to the yellow leaves. The tree branches look like veins throughout the leaves-cool :-)
