Not the best features....

...but I figure I should post them to get feedback. Thursday the day city editor informed me of two different events going on, so I decided to check them out to get features for the day. Very happy to say that they ran both of them, even though they were just okay by my standards. Friday was not a good day for featuring hunt. Besides being my seventh day in a row of work, it was raining during 90% of my shift, so I had to turn inside somewhere to find a feature.

This whole "banned from photographing kids" thing is starting to get to me. Sometimes when there isn't anything else interesting going on, you can always find kids somewhere doing something interesting. However, this little ban has helped me break out of my discomfort of photographing adults and seniors. For some reason, they dislike being photographed and always act awkward. But, I found from my feature on Friday that seniors aren't as self-conscious as younger adults. (The gentleman I photographed wanted me to take his picture.) Plus, most of them have some sort of story to tell you and enjoy conversing with others, especially younger people.
