Churning out the features...??

Yes, I churned out six, count 'em SIX features today. Granted, none of them are all that great, but I had a shadow today, so I had to seem like I work real hard when I have no assignments instead of slack off and get one or two features.

Thats right, I had a high school student shadow me today. It was cool, totally weird, but cool. I've been working in the business for a little over six months now, and I get to have a shadow. Wow....talk about pressure. The relief was he wasn't interested in going into photo-j, so that was a good thing. But, he definitely has an interest in photography, which obviously was cool. (He is required to shadow someone for his business class, so basically, it was a day out of school for him and a day to sleep in a bit. I found out that tomorrow he gets to go to Cedar Point for his physics class, so two days in a row out of school isn't bad.)

Two days, possibly one more if I got Friday approved as comp day, then I'm off for Saturday and Sunday. I may be taking a road trip, still haven't decided yet. Gas prices hitting $3.99/gal today made me winch and wanna re-think my possible plans. However, it would be nice to have things to do on my weekend off.

So, we'll see.
