The amount of people who attended this funeral blew me away. From the two and a half hour standing room only funeral mass, followed by the size of the procession filling the cemetery, but also the throngs of people who lined the funeral procession route gave me spine-tingling chills and brought tears to my eyes. Its truly amazing to see how much support a small town has provided for this soldier and his family.
God Bless you, Army Capt. Michael Medders, Jr., and your family.
Continue to pray for our troops' safety overseas and a speedy return home.

Geez, great job Anna. It really looks like you captured the spirit of the day. I am curious. How did the people who attended the funeral treat you? For my last funeral, the people were really angry that I was there.
