The Edge is our weekly prep sports tab that comes out on Fridays. Every week one of us photogs tries our best to turn the sports department's vision for a cover into a reality. This week I'm proud to say I hit this one almost square on the nose. The cover story is about the Elyria Catholic girls tennis teams depth. The guy writing the article wanted the three singles players to be lined up with their rackets covering their faces, as to be obscure, almost anonymous. I got a clear vision in my head how I wanted this to turn out, and I think I achieved what they wanted (I hope).
Feedback is always welcome since I have little experience with concept portraits/illustrations.

By George, I think you've got it! Good work Annie. I definetly can see the depth in that pic. I also liked your fall leaves shot...the lighting was fantastic.
Good job... I really like it!
:-) Definitely fits the assignment perfectly!
I really like how you decided to shoot wide open here. I think it holds my attention longer than if you had've stopped down...
I really like this shot! I never get to do any sports feature shots...they just don't get in the paper. The only thing that bothers me is their hair. I like how the rackets cover their faces, but I don't like the hair. Tell them to shave their heads next time! lol...just kidding. :)
