I like the running onto the field photo... (Much better than mine!!!)
You might look at cropping it as a panoramic... it might be stronger... (But then again... I'm in this phase of cropping things in a wide horizontal lately... so maybe it's just me.)
I really like the first photo too. It's one of those shots where I see it happening and figure I have all season to get the shot, but I shoot it from the wrong angle everytime. Way to be prepared! I agree that it might be cool to see it as a panoramic shot...
