Okay, well, the lions weren't out when I went to see them, but there were a lot of cool creatures I captured on my visit to the Cleveland MetroPark Zoo.
It was definitely worth the money to see some cool stuff. It was a lot more walking than I expected since the FW Children's Zoo has everything relatively close together. Not this zoo. Lots of walking, but I managed.

looks like you've definitely had fun at the zoo, i haven't been to one in forever, but seeing your photos makes me want to change that.
really like the snow leopard, lion fish, and octopus--they're very engaging and 'intimate,' which is an odd word to use for animal photos, but really sense the mood and closeup feeling.
you work is looking great. definitely motivating me.
