Wanting to join in on all the fun

So apparently after standing at the bottom of the sledding hill with my 80-200mm lens on my camera, I attracted the attention of some of the sledders, especially a group of about 6 teenage guys. One guy told me I should take his picture and put it on
Myspace. I informed him that I don't do that kind of stuff and I actually work for the newspaper. Him and his friends wanted me to take pictures of them so bad doing crazy stunts while sledding down the hill.
After they climbed back up to the top of the hill, the must have informed everyone up there who I was because I had a couple of kids ask me if I would take their pictures and put in the paper. I tried to take pictures of the teenage guys just so they'd leave me alone. One wanted me to take a picture of the two of us and put in the paper. I told him I couldn't because the lens was too long. One of his buddies took my camera to take our picture and then the rest of his friends jumped in the picture. Yeah, fun stuff. They proceeded to do stupid things after that.
The one stunt that topped them all was when the same kid who approached me in the beginning went down a side hill and crashed into the chain-linked fence that separated the stairs and the actual sledding hill. I laughed at his stupidity, but refrained from photographing him as not to encourage his stupidity.

But aside from the silly teenage stunts, the sledding looked like so much fun! I wish I could have joined in, but had nowhere to stash my camera. I would love to go sometime when I don't have to work.
