APSO Best Feature Photo finalist

These two photos are finalists in the 2009 APSO best feature photo category.

This is really exciting for me because I am guaranteed to take two of the three places in this category! The places are already decided, but I won't find out until May 2 at the APSO banquet in Columbus. There are so many talented photographers in our division from The Chronicle, Sandusky Register and Springfield, so I am humbled and honored to have not just one, but two of my photos as winners.

This was shocking to me mainly for the fact that I thought 2009 was a mediocre year for me. I guess a group of judges somewhere thought other wise.
